Our client is a dynamic and successful full service media agency based in North Kent, just outside the M25. Their young but rapidly expanding media department needs a top draw media planner * buyer to bolster to add to the team.
Reporting to the Media Director, you will assist in the day-to-day management and processing of key accounts and new business opportunities within the media planning and buying department. Working across a range of clients and prospective clients, you will produce, plan and buy both strategic and standard implementation plans, media proposals and schedules. You will also be required to liaise with others in the agency. Response analysis and the presentation of campaign results will also be part of the role, as is your ability to present to clients, negotiate rates and to participate in new business pitches.
To be considered, as a minimum you will need:
4-7 years media planning & buying experience. Broad media knowledge. Strategic. Be able to work in a fast pace environment and meet tight deadlines. Effective team player with excellent delegation skills. Strong negotiating skills. Confident presenter. Forward thinker – great foresight to see the solution to the problem before it arises. Accurate – eye for great detail. Innovative. Numerate. Quick learner. Creative thinker. Organisation skills with the ability to multi-task across the team on various projects. Sense of humour. Enjoys supporting the new business effort and success. Can make a big difference to the department and the agency.
Salary: Circa £45k dependent upon experience
